Busy, Busy, Busy!

I love this time of year. It's cold outside and the weatherman claims it might snow which is a rarity this far south. I hope it does cause I love the snow. I remember when I was little, I had a white Christmas in Memphis. Wonderful memories!

Right now, I'm counting down the days until I'm off for the holiday. That's right, you read correctly. For a whole two weeks, I get to stay at home, sleep late, stay up late and technically be lazy. Doesn't that sound like heaven?

So until then I have to get busy and finish a few things. First, clear off my desk here at work so when the new year comes in, I can start fresh. Also I'm reworking the ending on my werewolf story. Want that done and out of the way before I leave too. It's not going to be hard and I have started working on it so I'm optimistic it'll be done before the 19th.

Wouldn't it be grand to hear about my submission to Samhain before I leave for the holidays. If anything a request for a full. That would be the very best Christmas present this year besides the hugs and kisses I receive from my boys (young men I should say).

My oldest son's sweetheart (she is a doll) is graduating from the University this weekend. She's receiving her degree in Education. I'm so proud of her. And I'm proud my son found such a wonderful girl to fill his heart with love. They're precious together.

Well, better get busy clearing the desk out and reworking the ending to my werewolf story. Want all that finished!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you with Samhain! Wouldn't it be cool if we both heard around the same time? You've already got the talent and the story. Now all you need is a little pixie dust.

Fingers and toes crossed for your submission! (And I hate snow...I'd be more than happy to pack it and send it to you when/if we get any!)

Hee Hee, Debora! I got it last night. Thanks! It's so beautiful! Of course, I dread it when it starts to melt!

Two whole weeks - what heaven!! enjoy it! enjoy it. I'm crossing my fingers for you, too.
Good luck with your Samhain sub, Judith!

As for snow, I used to take it for granted when we lived in the UK, but now we're in Oz and the temps at Christmas often hit 40f, I kind of miss it!!

I know the snow is pretty but around here it turns to slush and mud. Ugly!!! When we lived in Newfoundland, now we had snow, snow, and more snow. It was wonderful.

I so hope you hear from Samhain. Hurry up with that desk! You don't want to have work on your mind over the holidays.
Loved that snow too Judy!

Of course come Christmas Day it'll probably be 80 degrees LOL!!

Keep your chin up and expectations high for the word from Sanmhain, my Friend.

My prayers are with you too.

Judy--I do know the joy of seeing a son fall in love with a lovely girl who loves him in return. My daughter-in-law is not only that, she's become a friend and daughter. Plus, she's the mother of my gorgeous granddaughter. See my latest blogs for pics.

Congrats on all the great reviews.
